中国轻工业对外经济技术合作公司(简称：中轻对外公司，英文缩写CLETC)成立于1983年4月，是经国务院批准设立的国有独资外经贸骨干企业、国务院国有资产监督管理委员会直接监管的中央企业。2008年底经国务院批准，中轻对外公司与原中国轻工集团、中国海诚国际工程投资总院三家中央企业重组成立新的中国轻工集团公司（简称中轻集团，英文缩写SINOLIGHT）。中轻对外公司主要经营境内外工程承包、对外劳务合作、政府对外经援项目、成套设备及其他商品进出口、境内外展览、境内外实业投资、对外咨询服务等。公司在国内有3家全资子公司和6家参股公司，在西非马里共和国有两家控股制糖企业，此外，公司在世界多个国家设有分支机构。
作为中轻集团对外投资、对外工程承包以及其他相关境外业务的主要承担企业，中轻对外公司是我国最早获得国际工程承包、对外劳务合作、对外展览权等经营资格的企业之一，并于2002年通过ISO9001:2000国际质量管理体系认证，2006年通过UKAS（英国皇家认可委员会）体系认证。

China Light Industrial Corporation for Foreign Economic and Technical Co-operation (CLETC), founded in April 1983, is a wholly state-owned backbone enterprise for foreign economic and trade co-operation established with the approval of the State Council and a central enterprise under the direct supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. At the end of 2008, upon approval by the State Council, three central enterprises including CLETC, the former China National Light Industrial Group and China Haisum International Engineering Investment Corporation (Group) were reorganized to establish the new China National Light Industrial (Group) Corporation (SINOLIGHT). CLETC mainly engages in domestic and overseas project contracting, foreign labor service co-operation, foreign economic aid projects of the government, import and export of assembly equipment and other commodities, domestic and overseas exhibitions, domestic and overseas industrial investment and foreign consulting service. The company has three wholly-owned subsidiaries and six joint stock companies in China, and two sugar making companies controlled by it in the Republic of Mali in West Africa. Besides, the company also has set up branches in many countries in the world.
As a main company undertaking the foreign investment, foreign project contracting and other relevant overseas businesses of SINOLIGHT, CLETC is one of the earliest Chinese enterprises obtaining the rights of international project contracting, foreign labor service co-operation and foreign exhibitions and other operational qualifications and received the certification of ISO9001:2000 quality management system in 2002 and the certification of UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) in 2006.
